ATM & Debit CardBack to Menu

Our ATM & Debit Card allows you the convenience of writing a check, without the paper.  The funds are automatically withdrawn from your checking account and you can see the detail of where your funds were spent on your account history.  NHFCU is a partner with the Instant Cash® Network, which provides you with ATM access throughout the United States. 

We are a Verified by Visa participant.  Enroll your card today!
Lost or Stolen Cards.  During regular work hours, call the credit union at 605-347-4527.  Nights and weekends call the Instant Cash Help Desk at 1-800-535-8440. It is important to call immediately when you believe your card has been lost or stolen. 

Surcharge Free ATMs.  Members can use the Northern Hills Federal owned and operated ATMs without being charged a fee, as well as any Wells Fargo on-premise ATM (except in California) and at any additional Instant Cash financial institution that participates in the "extended bi-lateral' agreement.  You can access more specific information through our ATM Locator available at www.instant-cash.com.  Northern Hills Federal is a participant in the surcharge-free program, however, not all credit unions on the Instant Cash Network participate in the program. 

ATM Deposits.  You may make deposits through an ATM only in South Dakota at any Wells Fargo on-premise ATM or at any off-premise Instant Cash ATM that accepts deposits.  You can access more specific information through the ATM Locator available at www.instant-cash.com. 

Cashier ChecksBack to Menu

Cashiers checks are guaranteed funds drawn on the credit union account.  The credit union must receive payment in guaranteed “collected” funds from the member to purchase a cashiers check.  A nominal fee applies. 

Direct Deposit Back to Menu

Safe and secure…and saves time too.  Electronically deposit your payroll, Social Security, retirement, pension or other recurring check into your account.  Funds are available the same day as the deposit.

Gift CertificatesBack to Menu

Establish a new account or deposit money into a friend or relative’s account and give the certificate as the present.  Great idea for new aunts, uncles and grandparents!

Money Orders Back to Menu

Generally used by those without a checking account to pay bills and issued in amounts up to $1,000.  A nominal fee applies.

Payroll DeductionBack to Menu

Send a portion of your check to the credit union for deposit or to make your loan payment.  It’s fast and simple. 

US Savings BondsBack to Menu

EE Bonds are reliable, low-risk government-backed savings products that you can use toward financing education, supplemental retirement income, birthday and graduation gifts, and other special events. Series EE Bonds purchased on or after May 1, 2005, earn a fixed rate of return, letting you know what the bonds are worth at all times.  U.S. Savings bonds may great gifts and investments and are available at all offices of Northern Hills Federal Credit Union. 

The online Savings Bond Wizard will allow you to calculate the current value of existing bonds.

VISA Gift Cards Back to Menu

The gift for those you don’t know what to get.  Can be issued with a value up to $1000. Refer to fee schedule for cost.

Wire Transfers Back to Menu

Allows you to electronically receive funds or transfer funds to accounts at other financial institutions.
